Hello. I aam looking for some general advice on preparation for the CSA.

Does anyone know of any CSA study materials?
Also, I know they are much different exams but, what about the level of difficulty of the CSA as compared to the USMLE step 1 or 2.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

The CSA is not a particularly difficult exam; for anyone who can speak english reasonably well, and who has an idea of how to communicate with patients and knows the basics of examining patients, it should be a snap.

The sources most often used for preparation are Mastering the OSCE/CSA by Rodriguez and NMS CSA. Although they are useful, i didn't find that I needed them. Instead I used the booklet the ECFMG sent and watched the videotape a couple of times. The rest was just common sense.

And before Cuts points it out: no 501s  :D
