I tried to search SDN for topics on CSULA but the information is very limited. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with the postbac program there? I'll be graduating from UCSD in a week with 23R MCAT and 3.2 GPA, which is pretty terrible 🙁.

I know their post-bac program is for people who have taken 2 years of bio. All you do in that post-bac is to take upper div courses to boost up your gpa.

hey, dont know if you got your answer. what i do know about their postbac program is that you need to have a science degree with a cum gpa of at least a 3.0. you need to apply to the university and gain admission as a postbac student as well as apply to the biology department as a pre-health postbac program. they have information about the program at calstatela.edu, but i know what you mean about there not being that much information on the forums from other students. you have to complete about 24 units of certain classes from a list they give you (all science classes) and you have to maintain a gpa of 3.0 as well as participate in the cal state LA MCAT review. then hopefully you get a really nice high postbac GPA to put on your medschool applications and it will boost your current undergrad GPA.
the huge downer is the budget cuts, not enough classes, not enough seats, and too many students.
