Looking for a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist to join our group at Virginia Mason in Seattle. We have three cardiac surgeons and do 400 pump cases (several complex cases), busy structural heart program with over 400 cases, mechanical support including ECMO, and have a residency program. Competitive salary for the area, and a phenomenal place to work. Message me if interested!

Yeah how much?
Also are you going to be floating people to other sites like, say, SJMC in Tacoma?

Only site is Virginia Mason, SJMC has filled all their employee slots and will be phasing out locums. Please message if serious and we can discuss details.

Until someone proves otherwise, usually when someone says competitive for the area, it’s not competitive nationally.

For academics? In 2012? 😝😝😝😝
This sounds actually competitive for academics.
Chill. It’s WA. No state income tax. Great location. I almost went to Tacoma for some cardiac only locums. Would consider that position if I wasn’t where I am now.
I think VM/Franciscan pumped a bunch of money into their anesthesia departments the last couple of years.
There has been some turmoil with the merger, but hospital systems learn from those mishaps.

Why are you telling me to chill? That’s rude.
I literally think it’s a decent position. What is your problem?
