I'm really sorry if this is the wrong forum but I could not decide which one it belongs in.
I am scheduled to get a CT scan of my brain in Tuesday because of chronic insomnia I have had since I was a child. I'm not really sure what they're checking for but I think the doctor said maybe I had a tumor or some other kind of brain problem that is preventing me from sleeping.
I use to take klonopin and xanax daily for months (w/o a prescription) to help me go to sleep but when I realized that I started to get addicted to them I quit (which was about a month ago.) Since then, I have taken valium 3 times (once was last night) to get some sleep.
So here is my question...
Will the CT scan be able to tell that I have been using benzos or any other drugs?
Thanks in advance.
