CTE effect on financial aid?

On a few waitlists elsewhere but the longer I wait the more I want to just commit to my one school. Does waiting to the deadline to commit tend to influence scholarships? Financial packages won't be out until June and the deadline to commit is June 31st. Will committing now increase my chances of a better fin. package?

Not in my experience, but it could differ at other schools if a late boost to the scholarship endowment pool occurs.
