With 4/30 looming, I'm having a fair amount of anxiety about how I should be handling PTE and CTE. I'm currently holding an acceptance at School A where I would be thrilled to attend and where I have received a decent financial aid package. I have already PTE'd them back on 4/15 and have not changed this yet. I am also sitting on 3 waitlists for schools which are very similar to School A (same geographic area, roughly the same pros and cons) so if one of them gave me significantly better aid I would likely commit there instead. According to their website, School A has a CTE deadline of mid-June so I am wondering if it is a smart decision to hold off on CTE at School A until closer to early June rather than jump on it the day it opens. I'm just very anxious because I do NOT want to end up fumbling my acceptance at School A by delaying. Probably irrational, but in my head I picture them rescinding the acceptance if I don't CTE them ASAP. I'm also concerned that schools who waitlisted me may not even give me aid at all.

I'm hoping someone else who has been in this situation or similar could offer some advice. I know the safest bet is to just CTE to School A, but as someone who is moving with a family to a different state and will have no parental assistance, something like the mythical full tuition/full COA scholarship could be enormous for me.

Thank you!
