Hey guys, friend of mine is writing the DAT and he asked me a good question about the cubes that i am not sure of. How are cubes displayed in the cube counting section. I am pretty confident that the only view ever used is the one shown on the left but my friend came across a different view (shown on the right) recently so i thought i would put it up here and see what people think. And some resources have them and some don't so the people who wrote the latest DAT will be the best indicator for this. thanks guys.

Short answer: they're both valid displays

The only difference between those two pictures is the orientation of the cubes with the respect to the viewer: the "front" of the cubes is facing out and to the viewer's right (Picture left) in one picture whereas the front of the cubes is facing out and to the viewer's left (Picture right) in the opposing picture.

Both are possible views you may encounter on the DAT so do not let the "orientation" affect your ability to count the number of faces
