Hello all

I am here asking for any strategies or anything I could do to improve my cube counting. So far in PAT I have gotten in CDP.

17/22/22

I have improved in all sections, but I am still getting 4-5 wrong in cube counting. I have done tally, and I have done row by row counting. And still nothing.. ughh. Any suggestions please ?

Thank you

Keep practicing. Practice makes perfect. If you do cube counting for 20 minutes a day, I guarantee you you'll be getting 15/15 by the time you write the DAT. TFE used to be my worst subject, so I did practice problems everyday. As soon as I knew it, I was averaging around 13/15. Just keep practicing.

I found that I have enough time to separate each row and jot down a number of sides painted for each cube in the "row" and then put a tally of 0-5 and then breeze the questions. The setup should take about 30-45 seconds per image depending on complexity BUT it makes answering the questions go crazy fast. Draw it out. You'll get a 15/15 if you don't mess up your counts.
