I think it is around 85 plus or minus .Not sure about this ,just guessing as I havent come across anybody who made it with less points than that.But then ,its not like I know everybody either.

I did. I got an 84.

To the OP, you should take nalini's list and calculate the percentages. It's not that everyone is in it, but it should give you a clearer view.

as far as i know the cut of % for this yr is 85 and above................i haven't come across any one who is less than that............. last yr it was 80 .....with in 1yr the competetion has increased so much...........all the best for ur exam...

I think 'cutoff' is a misleading statement.When the school started with the admission process they might have selected people with a lower NDBE score but as the application rose and the deadline neared,the seats started filling and the candidates got desperate the 'cutoff' went up.
I guess the same happened with BU too.

You can call NYU dental office and ask them directly about the cut off list and class average this year...

Hi Sree,
Yes their might be someone you know with 82 who got through NYU and I know plenty who did not..Infact I know someone who had 92 ..and she didnot get a cll from NYU..!!That also when she had applied in DEc.. 😕
No I am not in US right now..I am back in India and arranging documents for Students visa..

i know a person with 90% who had applied in dec, didnt even get a call. but the gpa was very low.i know a lot of people with less gpa who werent called for an interview.

ANN 03 is right ,I do know lot of them with high scores and advanced degrees who couldn't make it because of gpa(persumably).Some instances,absolutely no explanation when they had everything .

This yr competetion has increased for sure........the girl who got in with 82% is very lucky...............i know few people who got more than 85% and did not get admission in nyu.............its all subjective experience.........till jan they didnt even call for interviews who had less than 85%.........when i interviewd there are 17 students.........out of them only few got in............
everyone is good in their own way but everything depends on how lucky we are............any ways how is ur part-2 prep.......

Thats really sad 'coz we can't do anything with our gpa score..
