I'm interested in how long your current CVs are.

I know some of you are involved and I am just wanting to see what an average student CV would run...

Those current rphs please feel free to share as well...

also...
what is too short and what is too long?
and is there such a thing as too long?

There's a such thing as incorrect usage of ellipses. Check it out.

I am a 3rd year PharmD student and my CV is almost 3 full pages. I don't think there is such a thing as too long, just as long as it contains pertinent info. One of my professors is 35 pages, kind of amazing I thought. Here is a link if you want to check it out.

A good friend of mine that attends my school is a 3rd year, and her CV is 6 pages long. She's involved in just about everything possible, though.

Most professors I know, regardless of field, have long CVs. But if you're interviewing for a job, I would shorten it to two pages (if you were an employer, do you want to read a 35-page tome?). Include only the most pertinent publications and experiences (know your audience). There's many resources out there (http://www.jobseekersadvice.com/cv_advice/articles/top_tips_on_cv_writing.htm) just take a look around.
