In AZ, there were Targets/CVS that did less than 4,000 scripts a year. I interned with one of them for clerkship (91st Ave and Northern). You go nuts in the pre smartphone era.

Finance games, just like the property thing that CVS was using as an asset hiding strategy. It actually worked out for CVS, so the IRS closed that loophole.

I heard they decided to shut down some locations, but not sell. My friend was there for the takeover. Allowed errors went from 1/1000 to 1/10000. They had to clear the dashboard, impossible with insurance shut off and overtime taboo.
