haha this will never happen. they'll give themselves raises and bonuses and drive the company to the ground before they stop paying their employees with peanuts. CVS is not going to be able to continue running their business this way.

What’s the point of making your bed in the morning if it is just going to get unmade that night?
A bed has a purpose, thereby justifying the effort put into remaking it. The purpose of the idiots / trolls .....? Oh, I forgot....it is to drive away more contributors/readers to other pharmacy/pharmacist related websites/forums. Excellent, the plan is working. Exit...stage left.
Well, at least I don’t pretend like it’s still perfect and tidy in the morning. Using your analogy, you should be banning trolls every morning instead of pretending like they are not the same person you just banned a week ago.

I am pretty sure the point of trolls is to get a reaction out of people. So a good thing to do is just ignore them.
that's the problem with a free public forum. Imagine if everybody has to pay to access this forum, things will clean up really fast.
when there are no consequences, people are likely to act irresponsibly. consider this:
trolls: oh you banned me? no problems, i will just come back as...
techs: oh you fired me? no problems, i will just have another sh***y job by tomorrow
Well I guess I don’t make mine as well... but if you know they are the same person, then why aren’t you banning them?

techs should be started at $15 an hour then after 1 year of work and dedication boosted to $20 an hour. possibility to go up to the $25-30/hr range IF they literally do this for a living/full time and have been working with the company for 10-15 years+
working for several years as a tech making $15 an hour is embarrassing. making anything less than $15 an hour is disgraceful and you should be ashamed of yourself for sticking around with that job for more than a few months. $20/hr is a solid amount, that's like bottom standard of living. if you're okay with that, and that's good enough for you then sure enjoy your basic minimalist living

right now techs don't make a living wage. they get paid at a poverty level, and some people do this full time. it's actually super sad. CVS is the number one company to have such a large discrepancy in pay between it's CEO and workers. this fat sack of chit at the top is making millions while the lackies below him are capped at $12 an hour. it's sad, how could this even happen? i think techs should band together and just quit. say fck you to the pharmacies because their pay is chit, and then go work else where

techs are not paid at poverty level.
an individual would have to make about $6 to meet the poverty line defined by the government. techs get paid twice as much. obviously doesn't mean much but depending on your standards of living and where you live, techs make enough to make a living.
most companies work this way. i.e. the ceo of a car company makes millions if not billions while factory workers that make the cars make very little. techs actually make a decent amount of money considering the qualifications needed to become a tech. now, could they find a better job that pays about the same with same qualifications that does not abuse their employees like cvs, yes, of course. starbucks, for one, treats their people much better. with enough experience and qualifications/certificates, they can work at hospital pharmacies or independent pharmacies also.
correct me if i'm wrong but i think cvs caps their techs at $15 or $16 until they move up to lead tech. i've seen many techs that move up the chain and become store managers and trainers that get paid much better.
these numbers are not living wages. you really believe that $15 an hour is a living wage? the absurdity is strong. i cannot fathom how someone expects to live off of $15 an hour, when it gets taxed it's already down to $10-12 an hour. people are in these situations because they refuse to hustle and apply themselves further. they don't want to put in the extra work or take chances to further their careers or financial status. i'm not a fan of underpaid people whining that they deserve more money without doing anything valuable. i am a fan of people that work hard and smart to get ahead, and understanding what it takes to get to where they want to be
