I have sent the pic to someone who posted earlier on here and hopefully knows how to share it.
Or if there is an easier way to post a pic on here, I.e, without having to use a link? Copy/paste didn't work.

I am not a troll. This was actually in the SOS (stores own sales) plan. I mentioned that it sounded illegal, which is what someone on here advised me to do, and nobody has had to turn over their $1 yet..I'm not sure what will happen when someone does get their $1 taken.

Sorry for the delay in response, I have been busy studying, and also, it was hard to get a pic of the button when the pharmacist was out of the pharmacy and there were no customers to take care of.
Upload to tinypic and then they'll give you a link to share.

I was the one the pic is sent to. I don't have the time to do a tinypic or anything, but it is a red/pink button that says "Play my game. Did I say your name" and there's a dollar affixed to it. It is not an action shot, but the counter tops and carpeting in the background look CVS-y and I no reason to doubt someone would make this and no reason to think that these buttons are commercially sold.

I also received the pic and I can verify what he is saying is accurate

Holy cow. You are drinking too much of the CVS kool aid. HR business partner wouldn't allow it? Haha. HR is just another instrument used to fire employees. They are the wolves in sheeps clothing. They give them a nice name like partner. You talk like you just got out of school.

Actually, you seem to be the one who just graduated.

HR business partners (there are good and bad ones) are the equivalent of unions at Rite Aid. They make sure there are no violations of state and federal law including wrongful termination. They are the reason why I can never get rid of a bad tech without going through a zillion obstacles.

In any case, I can validate the button. OP send it to me. Ridiculous and degrading. I do not know how that would fly. I want to let you guys know that you do not have to participate in this. Actually, most people dont have to participate in anything that CVS rolls out such as I will statements, etc. File a complaint with the ethics line, and to your state labor boards. Maybe this is even eligible for a lawsuit!

You haven't been at CVS very long if you think your company operates with any sort of morality or legality. Look up the cases of how a few of your pharmacies dispensed excessive oxycodone rxs in florida and were nearly shut down. They were fully aware and ignored it for profit. Also check into the 20 mil you guys were fined in Cali for selling pseudofed illegally. They create unsafe dispensing situations by cutting hrs and endangering the public. They then blame the errors on the pharmacist and fire them. Look into how your pharmacists are pressured to enroll patients in the readyfill program and the illegalities with medicare and Medicaid. If the metrics aren't good pharmacist gets written up. CVS breaks the law as long as they can until they get caught and fined.

Folks don't take this guys advice. He's either a CVS shill or he's trying to get you fired. If you call that ethics line or state labor board you will be on the short list. The "most people don't have to participate in anything that CVS rolls out" is a real knee slapper.

As far as I am concerned, those were the actions of a few pharmacists. I do not know why they would do it. CVS never counted controls and narcotics in their script budget quotas. There has never been any incentives to fill it. In fact, there have been a million memos saying that we do not have to fill any scripts if we dont feel comfortable doing it.

Pseudoephdrine products also. There were countless memos every day from corporate saying that we can no longer sell pseudoephdrine products in the front when it turned into a law. There was a zero tolerance policy. Anyone caught doing it would be terminated. However, because a lot of pharmacists were not familiar with pharmacy restricted products at the time, they continue to sell it.

I have yet to hear a pharmacist being fired for making mistakes. There were pharmacists who got fired if they did not file an incident report. That makes sense since the liability is huge. The procedure at CVS is if you make a mistake, you must report it. If you make many mistakes, you get put into a program. They identify what kind of mistakes you make and give you a probation period. based on the mistakes you made (Ie too many wrong drugs dispensed). If you continue to make it, then you get fired. It sucks but people's life are in danger. Also, nobody can ever force you to verify faster than you do. I have worked at many CVS pharmacies (as sparda can tell you since I am a floater) where I verify my scripts just fine with enough time.

Another thing that I have to say is that all the stuff you mention happen to other companys too.

Personally, I think you are a clown. You dont like the truth so you ignore it. You make statements that have nothing to do with the posts. Do you even work for CVS?. You are probably somebody who blame everything but yourself. You probably made many mistakes, blame everybody for it even though it was your license, and got fired because you did not report it. Or maybe you are just a pharmacy student.
