CVS metrics: Prescriber Request Calls

Question for long time CVSers for prescriber request calls. MD offices will transfer you back and forth. These simply take too long, period.

How do you even meet this metric? Any shortcut around it?
 
All the computer looks for is a call to the prescriber. If the call is taking to long, say over 1 minute on hold, just hang up and type 'W'. Or ask a tech to do them. Keep it in perspective, the target is only what, 40%? Hardly undoable.

I don't think printing and deleting is a good idea, metric wise. You don't get any credit on those.
 
Do i get credit as long as I make the call? Or does it have to be over a certain time?
