Cvs payroll error

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That happens all the time. You have to watch your paycheck like a hawk. Technicians and anyone who punches in or out has it the worst. Pharmacists who work over their base also have to closely check every paycheck. The company is ******ed. Simple tasks like payroll always get f*cked up.

It happens every week when you check your time sheets.

I had vacation hours and PTO and it all randomly disappeared

Then they wanted me to be inventory specialist with no raise because it's a "career builder position". Why would I even want to build upon any career where I literally make min wage for a company who longer offers full time employment for techs?

This offer is insulting... here in Indiana I can make more at McDonalds or Walmart and not have to deal with brain dead idiots

cvs screw up payroll at times. u have to inform your supervisor to get retro pay.

Happened to a friend of mine. He "owed" hours. Ultimately we found out he had gotten paid out his normal salary a few checks back without working and they used the extra hours to "pay back" the time paid out. I think they call it hub or something.

Just checked my pay stub and i am short over 11 hrs over time. Did that ever happen to anyone?

YES! So, so, so many times. I honestly think they do it on purpose to new hires. My check wasn't ever correct until maybe 3 months after I was hired, of course never to my benefit. And it has been wrong many times after that as well, I scrutinize every week.

happened a few times to me. The payroll people or the system can screw it up, but sometimes it can really just depend on how good your store manager/shift managers are...

If the managers are top notch they will go back and watch the tapes every Sunday before doing payroll just as a double check on punch times.

Vacation hours, PTO, overtime and working at a different stores are all the risk areas for payroll error. Keep track of everything and collect you stubs or vist myhr.cvs often.
