On Sunday Colonie Police were called out to a CVS on Route 9.

They say a female customer asked to use the CVS bathroom which is employee-only.

That's when authorities say 26-year-old Vaughn Greene hid his smart phone behind a spare roll of toilet paper in the bathroom before giving the 61-year-old customer access.

Officials say the customer noticed the smart phone and alerted personnel who then notified police when it was discovered the phone was recording video.

"[Greene] did readily admit that he did do it," said Sgt. Robert Donnelly with the Colonie Police Department. "It hasn't been disseminated. For example, it wasn't, that we know of, uploaded onto YouTube or anything like that."

CVS released a statement following the incident:
"CVS/Pharmacy is cooperating with the Colonie Police Department's investigation of a pharmacy intern who was employed at our Latham, New York location on Loudon Rd. Following his arrest over the weekend, we took immediate steps to terminate his employment as his alleged activity in our store violates our values, our policies and our commitment to customers."

Greene worked for CVS for five years prior to the incident. He was also a student at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The college released this statement:
"We take this matter very seriously. We have strong policies in place that prohibit the alleged behavior, and we are taking prompt and appropriate action, which could include probation, suspension, or expulsion."

Police say they are investigating to see if there are any other victims.

"We did execute a search warrant on his computer and some other electronic devices in his possession," said Sgt. Donnelly.

Sgt. Donnelly said Greene has been charged with one count of unlawful surveillance and that other charges may be pending.

Didn't see it posted so apologies in advance to anyone who already did.

B-b-b-b-but Albany College of Pharmacy is ranked 56th. There is no way their students would do something like this  What an embarrassment to the profession this guy is.

1414 friends? I wonder how long they will stick with him after they find out what a pervo he is. oh wait, they are facebook friends.

If he would've just said "no, you can't use our bathroom" this whole thing would have been avoided, but see what happens when you do somebody a favor? :meanie:

Benefit of the doubt: it was an employee only bathroom, so he wanted to make sure she didn't trash the place.

Wow. If he's arrested, who is adding friends to his facebook right now? :meanie:

I think his career might be over. Would something like that require him to register as a sex offender if convicted?

Update:

A store clerk played back the video and recognized Greene as he set up the camera. Greene told a responding officer that he had made 30 recordings in the CVS bathroom since he got an iPhone in October, court records show. Greene told police that he stored the photos in a folder on his laptop. When an officer asked Greene why he was recording women, he said: “It’s the thrill of not getting caught.”

Facebook Update:

He only has 1412 friends now. :whoa:

Yeah, this occurred in the last state he'd want for what he was doing. It's considered unlawful surveillance in the 2nd degree (not 1st since he did not sell/distribute it) but this will probably be considered a sex crime and NY is one of the states where he will be required to register as a sex offender for a conviction like this. Probably will have to serve some time too (but the sentence will likely be less than 5 yrs)...
hopefully he didn't accidently record some children/minors or he will be in an even bigger s**tload of trouble...
