1. If a patient comes in and asks you to transfer a rx from one cvs to your cvs store and they have ZERO REFILLS left on the rx, what do you do?

2. If there are refills on the rx and a patient asks you to transfer from one cvs to your cvs, then you as the tech need to call the other store to back out a rx?

Can anyone explain other issues involved with transferring from one cvs to another such as if a rx is on hold, etc. I feel like there are so many different types of issues and it's really hard to keep up with them. Thanks in advance

If there are zero refills you just need to call the doctor to get a new rx. If its filled at the other CVS yes have them put it back and fill it at your store.
