At the store where I worked, men had to wear a dress shirt, tie, and slacks (along with the white coat). Actual enforcement of the dress code will depend on your district manager that oversees all of the store pharmacies in the area.
When I started out, the head pharmacist only cared about wearing slacks and a dress shirt. After the district manager came by and sent out a memo, they became extra stingy on wearing a tie and keeping the white coat on. Fortunately, they didn't care (or, they didn't notice) about the shoes. Your head pharmacist may have his or her own preferences, so adjust accordingly.
Scrubs, like in a hospital, would be great. At that point, you can basically wear whatever you want under the scrubs, which generally results in more comfortable clothing. In my case, we wouldn't have to worry about slacks, dress shirts, or the tie thing.
