Anyone know which would be better to work for as a pharmacist? Got offers from these three. So far I don't want to go to CVS. The Rite Aid DM seems cool but I don't know about choosing Rite Aid because of the WAG merger. I've heard mixed things about Safeway. Anyone have any input on which retail pharmacy would be better?

If you have experience I would go with safeway. If no experience I would go with cvs because they do have decent training modules.

Why would you go safeway over rite aid?

Cvs is churn and burn
Rite aid is on edge of merger
Safeway is grocery store and they usually have lower volume and better working conditions....although not always.

Work without pay= CVS > Riteaid > Safeway

It also depends a lot on location... low volume cvs/RA/wags in nice suburb is easier than a high volume safeway in bad area.

You should go with Safeway. But I would do cvs over rite aid for job security

Sounds like Safeway wins lol. The only thing is that the Safeway I was offered to is in the middle of nowhere and is somewhat ghetto too. The area with Rite Aid is somewhat ghetto too, but it's driving distance from some of my friends.

It depends on the metro area, if there is lots of WG and RAD overlap you see writing on wall. Safeway is usually good but can be hard work. If there is a drive up at your safeway that can make it tuff. If its me, look heavily at RAD, get to see it before it dies haha
