Hello rads gurus,

I am currently on a radiology rotation. It is minimally structured, so I have mostly been puttering through the teaching file. However, I also read Felson's in a couple of days and practiced what I was learning with CXRs in the file. So now I am really into learning about chest X-rays, and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a follow-up book? Something like a case book, or more detailed book about chest imaging. In particular I am looking at some of the Thieme chest books (of which there are many... cf., http://search.thieme.com/query.html?tokenid=SID2386284624872&start=1&qp=front:yes&qt=chest&x=0&y=0). I am not looking to drop $150 on a book for this rotation or anything, but would like to check one of these or something similar out of the library for a week or two.

Thanks!

Take a look at "Learning Radiology: Recognizing the Basics." It goes beyond the website, which is great, and links to StudentConsult.com where you get over 200 case-based images in an interactive format, based on the book.

I'd just go to the radiology library and borrow their big "Brant and Helms" radiology book. The chest section in the new edition is excellent.

That whole book is excellent.
