D in Gross Anatomy Lab

Just got a D in gross anatomy lab. I don't know what to do. I feel like I know more than what my grade reflects. I put in probably 6 units of extra time for this 3 unit lab. Too little time on the exams in my opinion, and being sick for both of them didn't help either. How bad is this?

I don't think you should delay applying to D-School because of this grade. Having spoken with a lot of my pre-pharm friends who are required to take this lab at my school I know there is a WIDE range of difficulty/grades that completely depends on which TA (read: bio PhD student) you get and to what degree they get an ego-boost from making life more difficult for pre-professional students.

I think it's ridiculous that A&P labs only count as one credit hour yet I know a lot of students who spend more time studying for it than for their 4 credit hour gchem lecture + lab course.

i totally agree. i had a&p II and comparative vertabrate anatomy in the same semester. our teacher knew how bad it was and we had 24/7 acess to the labs to study for them. i spent a many a nights there for 5-6 hrs a piece. biggest waste of 1000+ terms i'll never use again! (well maybe some of the A&P stuff, but still!)
