I know there are posts listing books about osteopathic medicine. I can't find it in search. Does anyone know of such a thread?

If not, do you guys have any recommendations? I am currently reading The DOs by Gevitz. Is there a book that goes more into the theory/philosophy of osteopathic medicine?

The DOs by Norman Gevitz is a must read and I'm glad you're reading it.

If you want to understand the theories and foundation of osteopathic medicine, there are "Osteopathic Medicine" books that talks abou theories and techniques but it might be at a "higher" level than what you need (basically aimed for osteopathic medical students and practicing osteopathic physicians)

If you want a general review and history of osteopathic medicine, here are some books that you might want to try out

Osteopathic Medicine: A Reformation in Progress
by Carol Poh Miller
ISBN: 0821415948
Ohio University, 2004

Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine: The First Twenty Years
by C. Ray Stokes
ISBN: 0929398173
University of North Texas Pr., 1991

To secure merit : a century of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, 1899-1999
by Carol Benenson Perloff
PCOM, 1999
