Its true, nothing from the civilized world is allowed, remember, OMM is "not" evidence-based, thus its not civilized, so we can't be either. In fact, we do voodoo chants around the bon fire asking A.T. Still and his powers that be to bring down the evidence-based train of thought, but he hasn't listened yet. We probably need to do cranial on his remains to help his hearing. Fortunately, an OMM doc here at DCOM has learned how to manipulate the soul back into the students, so we don't have to worry about that anymore. You should be seeing that technique soon.
Yes, it is also true that the winner gets "the wink" from Still. That person is then magically healed, and thus, is able to sacrifice the first goat. The rest of us do, in fact, give OMM on each other. That is actually how class rank is determined (and the order of the rest of the goat sacrifices), by how quickly your "patient" heals.
Our face paint and tribal designs are determined by the DO gods. This is where the interview comes into play. You see, our "docs" perform OMM and cranial and receive the designs from the gods thru their magic hands.
