which pm doesnt have a mesial root depression?

1) max 1st pm
2)max2nd pm
3)man 1st pm
4)man 2nd pm


i dont know the ans but i think i read in kaplans about max 1st pm having about a mesila root depression, not sure about all other pms..


can somebody please ans

mand 2nd pm doesn't have a mesial root depression/or is least likely to have compared to the other premolars.
max 1st pm ,max 2nd pm & md 1st pm have mesial root depressions with the max 1st pm being the most prominent.
p.s: check out wheelers if u have it🙂
 
yes, answ: max 2nd pm.
"on single -root specimens, the concavity on the crown and root is also plainly seen, althouth it may not be as deeply marked. Masilarry second premolars don not have this feature." Wheeler's chapter 9, pg149.

yeah..i read it too but on pg194(chapter 9) in wheelers(6th edition) it says for max 2nd pm(under mesial aspect)
'A shallow developmental groove appears on the single tapered root'

I thought the best ans was mand 2nd pm among the given options since there is no description of any developmental depression/groove for it.
I'm now thoroughly confused 😕 can anyone plz confirm
