Why does it always seem like I see more patients at night than the other docs do during their day shifts? Actually, it doesn't just seem that way, it actually is that way since I check the numbers. This time I actually exceeded the day's 12 hour shift census in the first 6 hours of my night shift. I'm not getting paid enough for this....

Yeah, you'd think the way every treats the ED like a free clinic that no one's having to pay....o wait....see previous universal health thread 😀
