heard it was a bomb... or an explosion..

I hear you, man. I couldn't believe what I saw on CNN when i woke up today. Prayers go out to everyone affected by this new tragedy. --Trek

It is really sad and unfortunate. My prayers for all those are affected. I have relatives (3 families) who live in that area.I was so worried because I couldnt get hold of them because phone lines were busy. They called me not too long ago. Luckily all of them are safe.

I feel so sad for the people of New York and those affected by the incident. I wonder what's going on in this country. I hope it was not at least the result of terrorist activity.

I can't believe this. My thoughts & prayers are with all those affected by this.

This is unbelievable...I hope it wasn't another act of terrorism... 😡 I think I just spent 10 minutes staring at the headlines on CNN.com. This is so surreal...

I'm still going to get on my plane this week. I'm not going to give in to my fears, and if this is indeed a terrorist act, I'd be letting them win if I cancelled my trip.

MSNBC has indicated that they don't think it was a terrorist attack. The right engine was due for a major overhaul in a little over 100 hours of service (not unlike rebuilding your car's engine after a certain mileage). Keep the 255 victims and thier families in your thoughts and prayers.

I just sent off my supplimentary to Cornell saying pretty much how I wasn't afraid to live in NYC. Hmmm, now I don't know.

Yes, we don't know it was terrorism, but quite honestly...mechanical problems don't give me any more confidence.

"All passengers headed to La Guardia please deplane." I heard as I sat buckled into a plane headed to La Guardia. Hopefully I can catch another flight tomorrow. Its a very trying time for our country right now... peace.
