So when studying for Bio I have mainly been focusing on cell biology, physiology, ecology, evolution , origin of life, and genetics. Is this mostly the concepts tested on the Biology section. Or is there other questions on topics like plants, too?

It is complete luck of the draw but there are some sections that are emphasized more than others

yes, like the topics you mentioned, but not origin of life... I didn't have any of that.. I think it's important just to know everything haha

Bio is so random on this test. It's almost like a trivia game. Know as much as you can learn about the topics that are game for the DaT

I've seen some origin of life questions pop up. A&P and Cell Bio seem to be weighted more, but everything is considered fair game.

[DAT Destroyer]

This is currently posted on the ADA website, to study any less than what they require is risky. You must study all areas realizing there are many different versions of the DAT and all test takers experiences are not the same. There is no way to predict what you will be tested on until you take the test. Unfortunately there are no shortcuts if you want to achieve a high DAT score.

You have been very helpful. Just wanted to make sure I'm not wasting my time studying certain material.

I'm pretty good at GC and QR since I tutor them at my school . So I want to focus on Bio, OC, and PAT mainly .

I felt the same way.. I just concentrated on the bio topics that were harder for me to understand since I knew which topics I struggled with. I don't know what day your test is but if you have time, I would suggest going through Chad's for OC. It will give you the basics for what you need to know, then go through the advanced destroyer questions, if you have time

I did go through chads videos for both OC and GC but about a month ago. My test is Monday coming up. I also went through DAT destroyer once. Not sure if I have enough time to go through it again.

Ahhh, I see. Yeah, I'd recommend just doing full length practice tests now.. maybe supplement with Destroyer questions, if you're up for it after that.

Thats what I was also thinking. I have been taking the DAT Bootcamp practice tests, and just completed the fourth one today. Tomorrow I will do the 5th practice test. I also want to take the 2009 ADA test. I took the 2007 version but heard it was much easier than what will be on the DAT. If I have any time left over I think I will try to do the Biology Destroyer problems.
