Are the notes posted on bootcamp Ferali's (revised) notes? (as indicated by the url) Or are these created by DAT Bootcamp? Any clarification would be helpful, thanks! 🙂
Older versions of Bootcamp had you using cliff’s and feralis notes to study bio which you could download from their website. They have since incorporated them into their own 500+ page study guide which I found to be super useful. Cliff’s just doesn’t go into the depth necessary and tbh I didn’t use feralis once the Bootcamp notes were released and just read the Bootcamp notes over and over. Ended up with a 30 in the bio section so I must say something in those notes worked!

I had read through cliff’s cover to cover and was beginning to go through feralis when the bio Bootcamp notes were released. I found the Bootcamp notes go into the necessary depth without wasting time on the details you don’t need. Overall I read those notes cover to cover twice. I think there was only one question on the real test I didn’t encounter in my DAT studying that I just knew from previous bio courses. Make sure to do a ton of practice problems! I reserved the Bootcamp practice tests to work on timing and just bulk answered DAT destroyer questions and thoroughly go through the answer explanations. I then spot studied areas I was weaker on and made sure I memorized all the mnemonics for taxonomy and animal diversity. What else did you use to score a 30 on bio? I was using Dr Romano's Bio Notes (which is also 500+ pages) but now considering switching to bootcamp's bio notes after reading your comment
I'll try to clarify - the first 7 or so chapters were a revised version of my notes. After that it's something completely separate (e.g. the anatomy and physiology chapters).
BC. Dr. Romano's notes are wonderful, but they are not as detailed as BC's. In addition, he goes way overboard on unnecessary info that ADA will not test such as specific steps within Krebs cycle, a level of detail that I did not learn fully until advanced biochem level 2 (which is essentially medical/dental biochemistry).
