So I know this question has been asked on this site 2-3 years ago(or..whenever), but I just wanted to hear more recent answers from the latest people that took the DAT.

How similar do you think the PAT section is on DAT Bootcamp compared to the Actual DAT. I'm talking like every PAT section on Bootcamp. Angles, Cube Counting, TFE, ect.

Do you guys think Bootcamp was harder that the real thing?
Were your scores better on the real DAT vs the Bootcamp PAT.

Thank you so much in advance!

I am pretty sure there is a separate DAT discussion forum, but to answer your question, I believe the DAT Bootcamp version is much harder. However, it prepares you very well if you practice it everyday!

Scored 19/20 on BC tests, but a 23 on the real thing recently.

i used bootcamp for 2 weeks and somehow got an 18 on the real thing, i was actually more than pleasantly surprised. i had no idea what i was doing on the actual thing too. i only used the generators because i suck at time management, but if u use it for 1 month, do the actual tests and read the explanations i can guarantee that u will be very happy with the result.

I took the test today and I thought all bootcamp questions were harder than the real thing although the real DAT was harder than the 09 practice test.

What the others said. I averaged 18-19 on the Bootcamp version, and got a 22 on the actual.

The key is to practice as much as possible. I also advise looking up methods on each section on Youtube; I guarantee you'll find really great tips and strategies that'll save you when the actual test comes.

Got 18~20 on the Bootcamp, but got 24 on the actual DAT. I personally prefer the Bootcamp PAT over Crack the PAT.

Right, personally prefer the Bootcamp PAT over Crack the PAT.thank you

The Bootcamp was harder for me (I scored ~22 average on Bootcamp and a 26 on the actual DAT). However, I had 2-3 rocks on the actual DAT which I was completely unprepared for and I am fairly certain I missed. It is possible though that the rocks were pilot questions for a future exam and therefore did not actually count against me.

Bootcamp is harder than real DAT, hands down. I was averaging a 20 on bootcamp, ended up with a 25 on the real thing. Hole punches and cube side counts can be figured out 100% through practicing (there's a guide on youtube somewhere for the former) and the keyholes, TFE, and 2D shape sections can be mastered through practice. Angles are a bit of a crapshoot IMO but practice helps.
