I just took my DAT and I want to give some hope to the rest of you studying!
I did SO MUCH BETTER on my actual DAT than DAT bootcamp practice tests. I don't think that is the norm but there is the possibility to bring up your scores. I retook each practice test and I really made sure that I knew why I was getting questions wrong. On the actual test I remember thinking "Oh, I know how to do this because I got this wrong on a bootcamp test."
Never let the practice scores get you down!!

I followed Ari's study schedule exactly except for one week when I went on vacation. During that week I just did quizlet flashcards when I had time.
I also skipped the 2007 and 2009 tests. I used my last study days to retake tests 1-5.

Here are my average Bootcamp scores compared to the real test.

Bootcamp
Bio - 17
GC- 18
OC- 17
PAT- 18
RC- 20
QR- 16

Real DAT
Bio- 20
GC- 19
OC- 19
PAT- 22
RC- 24
QR- 18

Huge improvement in PAT , how was it ?

I thought TFE and keyhole was much easier than Bootcamp. Other sections were about the same. I think I scored higher because I was more focused. When I took practice tests at the library or home, I didn't have the noise canceling headphones and people would walk past me. On test day I was very focused and confident. I wouldn't let myself get test anxiety (like I normally do)

Wait... they give you sound cancelling headphones? Thank god.

You make a good point about ambient noise that I hadn't really thought about. I am pretty good at tuning everything out, but my six year old seems to have melt downs every time I take a practice test and I wonder if that's impacting my practice score a little.
