I was debating if I should buy the BC. It's a lot of money and I am not sure if it's worth it. Would it be possible to buy only the PAT section? Also, does anyone want to sell it to me for cheaper because I only need it for 2 months and I don't want to pay the price for all 3. Would really appreciate any responses.

I saw the updated BC, and yeah they also jacked up the prices, but if I were to study again for the DAT, i would definitely invest it, even if it means a dent in my bank account.

I found the answers helpful and good for futuer review when it came down to crunch time before the real examination

Do you guys think if I just use the DAT Destroyer along with Chad videos, ferralis notes, Cliffs, it'll be enough?

I would also recommend DAT Qvault, but I can only vouch for the biology portion. I had several questions from qvault on my real DAT and I was extremely pleased with the question difficulty of qvault as well.

It's definitely worth it. The PAT preparation alone is the best out there, not to mention its other sections are just as strong.

The alternatives that include PAT prep are software like CrackDAT, Achiever, Topscore etc. which can be more expensive, offer less material, don't hit the right mark in difficulty, etc. Bootcamp might seem expensive but it's hands down the best overall value as a comprehensive DAT resource.

If price is a concern check out DATGenius or CracktheDAT. They both are a fraction of the cost. And I believe DATGenius has generators too.

Just curious, doesn't CracktheDAT and Bootcamp have the same # of tests? And I felt CracktheDAT was identical to the difficulty level of my DAT. So how does Bootcamp have more value?

CrackDAT specifically has the same number of tests but its science sections are pretty much worthless and in my experience (and I would estimate the majority of people that have taken the DAT based on their feedback here) CrackDAT's PAT section is easier than the actual DAT. Maybe some people are lucky enough to get an easier version of the PAT section but it's better to be over prepared than to rely on luck. I also found Bootcamp's PAT answer explanations to be much more helpful than CrackDAT's.

As far as value goes, Crack DAT's cheapest bundle package (which doesn't come with PAT generators) is still more expensive than Bootcamp. The two aren't even close in terms of value. I used a lot of resources when I prepared for the DAT and while they were all helpful to various extents, CrackDAT was by far the most expensive and least helpful of any DAT-specific resource.

Would you say DAT Genius is comparable to BC? I don't want to waste time on it if it's not helpful. Any ideas about DAT Genius?

Makes sense. I was just asking because i'm considering rewriting later this summer. I know there's a general census on SDN that Bootcamp is more representative for the PAT, but all my friends in dental school say CracktheDAT is more accurate (same way I felt). So it's really tough to tell since it's subjective and we all get different versions of the exam.

That being said, I think you're right Bootcamp is probably a good deal. But I would still try to stick CracktheDAT into your schedule because it helped me a lot the first time.
