Hi guys,
Just took my DAT on July 7th, and I was shocked!!! I didn’t expect to score this high. I mostly used Bootcamp to study for DAT.
For PAT: don’t worry too much, the real test was easier than practice tests. I spent the least amount of time on this section.
Bio: condensed note is good enough! The videos are super helpful too, I watched the videos of each chapter right after I read the condensed note, then taking notes. And for the next day, review the notes and do the bio bite for that chapter. I also made tons of funny words related to the difficult words or concepts which was super helpful in memorizing them.
QR: nothing much to share, I have pretty strong background. I did 2 practice tests each week for 5 weeks before the test.
GenChem: Chad’s and Mike’s videos are EVERYTHING you need. I watched both! Didn’t even take notes. Just keep watching those videos over and over again and do the practice tests.
OChem: I only watched Mike’s videos for this section and studied the reaction sheet. The real test was also easier than the practice tests. I scored about 21-22 on practice tests.
For RC: practice makes perfect, there are several techniques for this section but I prefer search and destroy. Just find the right technique that works for you and practice everyday. I also jumped to the third article first which usually was the easiest one.
