Hey everybody. So my DAT is coming up. I'm stressed, getting nervous, anxious, whatever you want to call it. Ever since I started studying, I've always believed that I am a 20+ guy. After going through Chad's vids a little more than once, all his quizzes, Cliff's AP Bio 1.5x DATQVault tests, Ochem and Gen chem Destroyer 4 times, and all Achiever/Topscore Pro tests, I'm mainly diverting the majority of my attention to math for these last few days.

My practice tests for DQV, TSP and Achiever have been so inconsitent. I've been scoring from my worst of 16-17 to as high as 23 on individual sections. I'm to the point where I'm not going to let practice tests dictate how ready I am for the actual DAT, because deep down inside I know my ish +pissed+

My question, specifically for Gen Chem, is what resource should I concentrate on to really put the icing on the cake? I'm looking for questions that are almost identical to the DAT itself. I'm done using precious minutes/hours trying to pack and practice questions that probably won't show up on the real thing.

Should I spend the majority of time on Chad's vids/quizzes again? I keep hearing his quizzes are even more representative of the actual DAT than other programs. I'm pretty doubtful the DAT will have DQV questions like, "what should you do if something catches on fire?" Wut :eyebrow: I don't think questions like that determines how prepared I am for Dental School or if i'm inept to studying 12-14 hours a day

Or should I just redo Topscore tests? DQV tests?

Opinions? I want that icing on the cake that basically solidifies the hours, days, weeks and money put into studying. I want that last hurrah before I go to battle.

I think the Topscore tests are the closest you'll get to the real thing. I remember saving those for the last 2 weeks before my test. If you have done a bunch of full length simulations already, I would just go over the questions I got wrong and skim over the concepts. Solubility for example was my weakness so I just focused on those. Focus on filling in the small leftover gaps. I'm sure you'll do fine. Don't burn out. Save some strength for the real battle.

Thanks for chiming in!

Yea, I've been going over Topscore questions after everytime I take a test. Definitely trying to hit my weak points and fill in whatever voids I have. Was TSP the closest in terms of wording, difficulty, etc? Or does it "feel" the same compared to taking the real thing?
