Took the DAT today (6/4). My scores:

PAT:18
QR:21
bio: 21
GC: 22
OC:20
TS: 21
AA:21

Honestly I did not study that much. Not trying to brag just the truth!

PAT: Did about 7 practice exams (5 from bootcamp, 2 from Crack DAT) really struggled with this; I was averageing a 16 on practice exams but the real thing was much easier.

QR: I did math destroyer (just the main booklet not the additional one with the 13 or so tests) along with 3 bootcamp practice exams

RC: Did the bootcamp practice exams, ran out of time on the first 3 but did better on the last 2.

Biology: Went through destroyer completely once and then the first 112 questions a second time. Also read through most of Cliff AP notes. Bootcamp practice exams

GC: Chad's videos+ quizzes, bootcamp practice exams

OC: Boot camp practice exams. Just got done with ochem last semester

Overall was not a terrible experience. I did better than I thought! Could've studied more I guess but its over with now and I did alright!

Congratulations! Very nice scores and consistent. Dental schools like to see consistent scores. With a good science GPA you should not have a problem obtaining interviews.

Wishing you the best in your journey to becoming a dentist.

Keep us posted and thanks for sharing your experience with the SDN community

Great Scores, How long did you study for the exam and how was your study breakdown? I hope you can enlighten us on that.

Congrats! Good to see someone on SDN that is actually happy with a 21 AA and TS instead of freaking the hell out about a retake haha
You are probably in a very good spot.

I set aside a month to study. I only ended up studying about 2.5 weeks or so. It was pretty spread out, I didn't usually sit at a desk for 12 hours in a day and study like that, it was much more relaxed.

I would usually just read biology questions out of destroyer for 30min-1 hour then get up and do something. I have a good biology background because I took Cell and molecular, Human anatomy and physiology, and genetics in the last year (I highly recommend taking a human physiology class before taking this exam.)

I knocked out chads videos in about 4 days toward the beginning of my studying then I took the pracrice exams to gauge where I was at. Gen chem was always one of my strongest subjects so it all came back to me.

Overall I would say that if you understand the BIG picture concepts well enough you'll get a score like mine. I you really want a scores in the mid to upper 20's then you might have to double or triple your study time just for the few extra points (I didn't really think it was worth my time considering my situation.)
