jus took the DAT today and im feeling pretty good. heres my break down...

ALSO if you guys can lemme know what my chances are for 2010 im applying in june.

UCLA graduate my overall GPA is 3.4 and Sci GPA is 3.14 *(i kno its low but ive taken classes like physio, micro, biochem, anatomy and science classes at ucla are KILLLLLEER)

ALSO I HAVE LOTA EXPERIENCE AND EXTRA CURRICULAR STUFF

you definitely got some competitive and solid scores. i say apply early and you should have no problem. if you have the time, maybe take one or two classes to try to boost your science gpa, and keep up with your extracurriculars. good luck rest of the way.

thanks alot guys for the positive words....i was looking for my first choice being the california schools and after them maybe NYU. And ya, im takin some extra science classses to boost my Sci gpa.

and science classes at ucla are KILLLLLEER

I'm assuming your GPA took the dip from taking hard upper div sciences (because the lower div sciences I've taken here so far have been pretty straightforward).. What upper div science classes would you say were the "killers"? It would help me to know because I am currently in between majors, and am curious about which upper div sciences are the most difficult here at ucla..

I did give a breakdown.

It's mostly understood that a breakdown is more than JUST your scores on each section...it's a brief description of what you thought about each section, and what materials you thought were most helpful in preparing you for each section (bio, gchem, ochem, PAT, RC, and QR).

ie) GEN CHEM: mostly conceptual, not many calculations...I reviewed with Destroyer and Kaplan BB for 2 weeks, and found that the actual DAT was easier than Destroyer, blah, blah, blah, etc....

That's an example of what a breakdown includes for EACH section.
