Hey guys just finished my dat and I'm actually really disappointed. I really choked during the sciences and I felt like I guessed on a lot. My reading was really hard and a lot of times I was ??? Anyways these were my scores: (

quantitive reasoning: 19
reading comprehension: 17
Bio:.20
chem: 20
organic chemistry:21
ts: 20
aa: 19


I have a 3.3 gpa with a strong upward trend..so I'm just a average student. Do you guys think I should retake?

I don't think you should retake, your scores either average or above average.
what is your school of choice? call them and see what they advice you 🙂

20 + 3.3 + upward trend would be ideal in your situation
don't lose hope though, if you apply broadly enough, i'm sure you're land some interviews
be thankful that at least every section is 17+

I have similar scores as you with same rc of 17. Your ts is one point higher. Got 5 interviews so far.

Your scores are pretty solid.. I wouldn't risk retaking just for one section of 17. TS of 20 is pretty great.

Just apply to schools that fit the range. And make sure you have a strong profile to back you.

(I had 2 sections of 17, PAT and Bio, and I just got one invite. And my GPAs are lower. So you should be able to land an interview!)

Yeah, I can understand how you feel.

I applied all over the place, 23 to be exact. I am a PA resident so I applied to 😍Temple😍 and Pitt (way stretch but I'm in state so we'll see) and a lot of the private schools: Western, Tufts, USC, etc.

There is nothing wrong with your scores. Don't compare to the people on here with all 21+ scores bc in reality those are rare. Your scores are above average so there is no need for retake

Thanks guys for all the advice.I'm definitely going to think about it.right now,I'm still not satisfied..so I'm heading towards a retake like50-60%. Still not absolutely sure but we'll see
