I took my DAT on Friday Oct. 1 and here are my scores

PA 21
QR 20
RC 18
Bio 20
GC 18
OC 23
TS 20
AA 20

I don't think this would've been possible w/o help form you guys... so a BIG Thank You to all the SDNers 😀

My under grad. GPA is 3.433 and my Grad GPA is 3.0 🙁 but i can bring it to a 3.19 by the end of the semester.
So what are my chances of making it to dental school for class of 2011?

your chances are good, your scores are competitive. NO ONE is guarenteed, but do what you have to do and apply.

yes, to 8 schools.. i guess now i just have to wait and see what happens..

Bio: I'm a biology major so most of the stuff on the dat is basic biology.. I took kaplan online.. and went over their material... I also bought DAT destroyer 07 and 10.. but honestly didn't spend any time on them..

G Chem: Chad is the man.. and Kaplan material.. again i think i should have spent more time on the DAT destroyer.. i guess i needed more practice..

O Chem: DAT destroyer would be the best option.. Also Kaplan online material..

Reading: English is not my native tongue and i a slow reader.. so i bought a program called Ace Reader Pro.. $69 and just used that.. I think it was a big help for me..

MATH: MATH destroyer all the way.. I did 6 tests.. I would time myself for 1 hour to do as much of the problems as i could.. then i would look up all the problem i had missed and couldn't get done b/c of time..

I would also recommend take as many practice exams as you can the week b4 the exam.. and review the most important material 2 days b4 the exam..

The day b4 exam try to relax and do something you like.. may be play some soccer/basketball video games.. whatever you like..

and on the day of the exam DO NOT skip your breakfast..
