Congrats on finishing and great PAT score. However, it might be wise to retake. Given how competitive this cycle is looking to be, a 17 AA might not cut it. Your GPA is great, though.

Unfortunately, I doubt that these grades will cut it. The scores seem to be even higher this year and very competitive. The GPA is very good but the TS is low and the AA is very low. I would suggest retaking the DAT. Your GPA is high so you can definitely do better than this on a retake. What did you use to study, maybe you should change that up a little.

agreed ^^^ retake is necessary. Also, your scores unfortunately fall into a "red flag" area due to your GPA. Hopefully, after you retake, your scores will reflect your hard work in undergrad. Nice PAT and good luck!

agree with the retake advice ... enjoy some days off and then jump back on the study wagon.

I agree with everyone above, great PAT score!! I would recommend Destroyer and Topscore to help you bring up your sciences. Good luck

i'm sorry but id have to agree to retake, especially if you're applying to nova. i went to visit there a couple of months ago and spoke with an admissions officer. she said they're average dat ts/aa was at least a 19 this cycle, and an almost 3.7 gpa and 3.6 science gpa. i don't think these scores will cut it for nova, but they are not terrible.

i would recommend kaplan bb & subject tests, destroyer, cliffs ap bio, campbells, and crack dat pat and you'll be golden. good luck next time around.

What did you use to study.... it might help give us some help on what else you could use to study since a retake is needed (as mentioned above). If you haven't used KBB... use it and know it especially for the sciences. No need for topscore, achiever, CDP since you know the structure of the test and your PAT is good. Also do lots of practice math problems from SAT/ACT books or online if you can find.
