Oh my goodness, this is my 2nd time taking the DAT and got an AA 18 and PAT 21. I was ECSTATIC when I saw my score! God truly helped me out during this summer and during the test 🙂

I followed the 8 week study schedule and gave myself an extra week and a half to do my own thing.

Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry: CHADS VIDEOS. I took notes on each video. Love that man. DAT DESTROYER. Did it twice.

Biology: Cliff's Biology. To be honest, I used this as a starter for studying. I highlighted, and outlined each section but when things didn't sink in like the kidney system and the circulatory system, I looked at Khan's videos. REALLY HELPFUL. I also did the Bio section in DAT destroyer which was helpful as well.

PAT: Hands down, CDP. Just practice those and know the techniques. If the folding is giving you a hard time, practice with paper!

RC: So I SUCKED last time with RC. Search and destroy. I just read the first question, skim for key words and read carefully.

QR: Math Destroyer. You HAVE to know how to do word problems FAST. So in order to get used to that speed, you have to practice a lot with Math Destroyer. During the test, just pick a random choice and MARK all the questions that don't come to you immediately. And I mean immediately. DO NOT SIT THERE AND PONDER. Just get all the ones you KNOW FOR SURE.

Good luck you guys! 🙂

Well this time around I took the test much more seriously since I realized that the test was not to be trifled with hahah.

1. Get used to taking a 4.5 hour test. When you take practice tests, do it at the same time you are scheduled to and try to make the conditions similar.

2. Instead of skipping, I chose a random answer and marked it. This way, it prevents me not answering a question. If the answer doesn't come to you instantly, just mark it and come back to it later! I would skip like about more than half of the questions and see that I have ample time to go back and solve the problems that take more time.

YOU CAN DO IT!

Nice scores! Definitely agree with you on Math. If you don't know the method of solving it immediately, pick a random answer and move on. Timing is so key on the Math section that it is important you do all the ones you know for sure.
