I am about to sign up to take my DAT. Has anyone on here been able to waive their fee for taking the test? I read that getting a waiver slows down your application, is that true? Thank you!

It probably does, why wouldn't it?

I applied for and received a DAT fee waiver this year.

Process:
You have to answer a question about your financial circumstance and why you need the waiver, mine was about half a page. You then fill out a short application and submit the both the application and the essay together via email.

My application took 6-10 business days to be reviewed. Once they review it, they send you an email that lets you know if you have received the waiver. You can't apply to take the DAT until you get this email.
So yes it does hold up the process.

Can you apply to the fee waiver if you previously taken the DAT? Thank you for the help in advance!
