I finally finished the DAT and would like to know what you think about my chances. Here are the scores...

PAT 22
QR 16
RC 17
BIO 19
G CHEM 20
O CHEM 22
TS 20
AA 19

I don't know what happened on math and reading.. I had been getting 19s every time on each section. I even thought they were kind of easy. Must have fooled me. But how do you think my scores pan out? I'm a kentucky resident applying to Louisville and Kentucky, and Louisville is my number one choice.

Great scores, yeah your RC is a little low but everything is good besides that. What is your GPA if you don't mind me asking.

My GPA was actually kind of low. Cumulative was 3.41 and science was a 2.9. Louisville told me that those were a bit on the low side but by no means would prevent me from being accepted. I also played a varsity sport (soccer) which resulted in almost a whole GPA point drop every season (fall). They seem to like the fact that I played collegiate sports though, but I don't know how it will pan out. Thanks for the opinions!

hello, congrats on your DAT accomplishment! ur scores are good..not great but should get u some interviews i hope. what's great is that u are an athlete...schools like diversity and i can guarantee u that most science majors (majority of applicants) are not athetlets..so u r one step ahead..and that can explain ur lower gpa. apply to more schools too!

hey congrats. can u plz post ur achiever and topscore scores in detail? im taking it very soon and i wanna see if the scores are comparable. thanks alottt

I actually didn't use achiever or topscore. I just used Kaplan and I went through almost all of the DAT Destroyer book (I'm a procrastinator and work 40 hours a week so I didn't get all the way through the G. Chem). Also Crack DAT PAT was priceless (even though PAT score doesn't really matter). But I took the first and third Kaplan Full-Length tests and here were my scores:

Test 1 (One week before actual DAT)

BIO 19
G CHEM 21
O CHEM 23
PAT 21
RC 19
QR 19
TS 21
AA 20

Test 3 (2 days before DAT)
BIO 21
G CHEM 17
O CHEM 17
PAT (didn't do)
RC (didn't do)
QR 18
TS 19

Yes I freaked out when I got those scores two days before the test, so I started going over everything I could and stressed myself out. Because of that I thought that I was going to do poorly on the actual test, but I was still confident. You just have to treat it like you're going to do the best you can and it'll be over with before you know it.

good job...btw: kaplan test 3 is VERY hard...that is why. If you asked about it, many people would have told you that.
