DAT in a week... Achiever Test 1

Hey Guys,

I just took my first Achiever test... I got 18's for all the sections. Is this good/Bad? Would I be able to pull 21/22's with this score on the actual DAT?

Is the general consensus that Achiever is harder? My biggest problem was QR. I got the lowest (65-62 % on QR and RC)

I've heard that QR is very similar to the actual test so I'm really worried. My internet kept going in and out during the entire test and got so bad in the PAT and QR that the test just froze for a good 5-10 minutes. But I've generally had issues with timing so I don't know

18 is about average for accepted students, but it seems like every year the average is going up. I'm not sure what your GPA is, but I think if you can get at least 18 across the board, with a few 20+ then you'll be fine. I'm taking it the DAT next Wednesday as well and am just reviewing notes, taking practice tests, and studying some of the finer points that I feel rusty on. Best of luck. hopefully we kill the DAT next week

Honestly I think thats pretty good for achiever! I did the first three achievers and got about a 16-18 avg on the sciences and ended up with a 21TS on the real thing. I got a 17-19 on the PAT and got a 23 on the real one. Achiever is MUCH harder than the real thing but a great tool to learn, ESPECIALLY the PAT.

Also I never did the QR on there so I can't comment on that (or the reading because I heard it was insanely hard). My achiever froze all the time also and it drove me CRAZY!!

18's on achiever are like 20+ on the actual DAT. You're good to go!
