Hey Guys!
Okay so today I talked to an Professor from Baylor Dental School,
I told him I'll be taking my First DAT in NOVEMBER 2011 (cuz of some personal issues), I've already applied for Fall 2012 admissions, BUT he straight up told me that my file would be INcomplete and that I would most likely NOT get in. I was like what the f-!
Heres my breakdown without the DAT according to the TMDSAS calculator:
Overall GPA: 3.31
Overall Science GPA: 3.02
Undergrad Non-Science GPA: 3.53
Ive been President of an Honor organization for 1 year. And I'm a treasurer for another Honor organization. I've shadowed, doing research, and have done lots of extracarricular and volunteering. I also worked for a year.
Can anyone tell me what my chances are for Fall 2012 if I get outstanding DAT scores in November 2011? Or if anyone has any reccomendations?
Also does it really matter if you take upper level sciences at a secondary college rather than 4-year (cuz they still calculate the GPR from all community colleges and secondary colleges the same way they do for 4 year when they are doing GPR calcs on the application site)?
PLEASE HELP if you can!! THANKS
