My BC full length tests 1-5 averaged around ~19-20 for Bio, 22-23 for GC, 22-23 OC, 20 RC, 20 QR, 20 PAT. I also took 2007(20 Bio, 25 GC, 28 OC) and 2009(21 Bio, 23 GC, 20 OC).

I'm just really worried about Bio because I skimmed through Cliffs once but didn't really STUDY/MEMORIZE Cliffs and went through Feralis notes only once(understood and memorized only basic/general stuffs and didn't really care about too specific details). I managed to get through OC/GC destroyer twice but only half of Bio only once. But I did go through all BC bio exam explanations thoroughly(even the ones I got right, like everything). I know Bio section is unpredictable so I was supposed to study harder but ended up not putting much effort I needed to put into. I regret it but... well.. it's kinda late, I guess. If I study tomorrow, is it recommended to go over Bio destroyer(casually reading solutions) or Feralis notes/Cliffs tomorrow? I know it's not recommended to study the day before but I'm used to cramming before tests so not studying the day before would stress me out more.. 🙁

Thank you!

My bit of advice would be to looks through cliff notes, and read and fully comprehend the chapters of the content you frequently miss on practice exams. If theres a pattern of the type of questions you're missing, try to get a better grip around those subjects, even research info if you have to in order to get a better, well rounded picture. Btw, making quizlet flashcards is a really quick and useful way to drill some topics into your mind.. if you're interested.

With last minute studying, I don't think destroyer would fulfill your need of giving you a full and focused view on the content you need work on. As much as I love destroyer, at this point in time for you, I'd suggest to use it for the purpose of making sure you get exposure to a broad scope of questions - to maintain your knowledge of the different aspects of bio and your ability to apply them via a question/answer setting. It'll give you a little bit of everything.

Hope this helps 🙂

I myself studied until 2am the day of my exam lol which was at 8am so I get you. For bio though, I would suggest reading through both the Destroyer solutions and the BC solutions for tests 6-10. Your chemistries you have down it seems like, and your RC/QR/PAT are decent too. Best of luck!

With only a day before the exam I wouldn't recommend trying to cram anything that's detail oriented, just skim the fundamentals and try to relax. Studying the day before isn't going to make much of a difference in the outcome at this point.

A day isn't much time, but if you are like a lot of students, including myself, it is ok to study right up to the test time. I would have stressed out more doing nothing the day before a test. Do what works for you. Should you decide, go ASAP to Bio in the Destroyer, which I HIGHLY recommend, try to target the areas of weakness.

A student that took the test the other day who is a member of the forum and has yet to post,
stated in a pm to me:

"I will say that destroyer bio saved me big time. I have zero background in bio. Haven't taken a single bio class. I didn't know what a nucleus even was. Destroyer enabled me to score higher than some bio majors."

Today just focus on any weak areas and do whatever works for YOU, and no one on this forum including me can answer that .

Wishing you the very best..and I hope you get a version tomorrow that is aligned with your strengths..

Thank you so much for all these replies! I just came home from the testing center. My real DAT scores were 21 Bio/24 GC/26 OC/22 RC/19 QR/20 PAT/22 AA/23 TS. Thank god that I did just fine on Bio even though I wasn't prepared enough(ended up going through BC Bio explanations and cramming Cliffs/Feralis notes for anatomy&physio(my bio background was weak in this area) for 15 hours the day before DAT-it wasn't fun) but QR score is a little disappointing(way harder than BC and there were so many time consuming questions that I thought it was as difficult as math destroyer tests; didn't expect my actual DAT QR to be that difficult) so I was thinking about retake on the way home since I decided to apply next cycle. I would say GC was also harder than BC since all my questions were conceptual with only two or three calculations. Other than that, I would say everything was similar to BC and 2009 DAT.

Congratulations! Looked like the cramming turned out well for you after all - you did a great job on the test and I hope you do a breakdown. I don't think there's any need to retake with those scores, you did great overall and the QR section is usually not weighed too heavily.

Congrats on your scores!! They are awesome!!! I don't think you need to worry about a retake at allllll!! Now you'll be prepared next cycle!!
