hey has anyone used this thing called "PAT MASTER"? I found a website and am tempting to buy the CD...is it helpful? worth $50??

This actually looks pretty good from what I can see. I checked out the screenshots and it seems pretty clean. From what I gathered you get the equivalent of about 9 practice PAT's for 50 bucks, which is not all that bad. What I liked were the explanations and techniques that PAT Master gave, especially with the keyholes. However, I would say that it looks a bit simplistic compared to DAT achiever (what doesnt). If you are going to practice, you might as well practice with the hard stuff. With that being said though, if you need PAT practice, then it seems like a pretty solid purchase.

does achiever animate the solution as it appears this software does? assuming achiever is a CD, not a book. (i start DAT prep next year, so i know nothing of this stuff yet.) what about top score?

ps: what pecentage of people take the actual stanley kaplan course?

Achiever does animate the solution, and it is pretty handy in showing what a ***** you are for choosing the wrong answer.
