DAT regitering...how long can you postpone it?

i signed up but haven't picked a date yet officially cuz i keep pushing it off and wanted to at least get out of the 16 zone in all my areas before i picked an actual test date....will my payment expire or anythign if i don't pick a date shortly after i registered for the DAT? I got the paper tellin gme to register on June 5th

i want totake the test july 22 now so if i register next week is that okay as long as spots are open?

pick a date and sign up for it tentatively. If you aren't ready 3 days before it then reschedule. There is a small $10 fee if you reschedule but that's really nothing compared to if you go into the test unprepared. I feel if you set a date and take it seriously you'll study a lot harder. Tell yourself you WILL take it on a certain date and if you absolutely have to change it then change it. I'm taking mine next week .. you know how much I want to reschedule right now!?

Yeah, definitely register! After you register you can postpone it for up to a year.

Just make sure you postpone it 48 hours before the actual test date

taking the dat is hot right now plus the different centers have other tests going on, not just dat...if you don't sign up quickly..that day may be full soon, so I would check...so pick a day, work towards it, and reschedule if you have to.. i already reschedule 2ce...no more...it goes down..july 17th!!

thanks you guys are awesome! i know i gotta pick a date i've already pushed it back so much without signing up for it that' i'm worried i'll have to do it again so i'd rather break 16 on each section first or at least wait to take another full lenght (in 4 days) and then estimate from there. hopefully 4 more days won't be too late

i think you have a year from the date you registered for the DAT to actually take the test
