Hey guys I already submitted my application to dental school, but I'm not going to re-take the DAT until September. Do I call up the schools after I get the new score or do I have to let them know now?

Did you indicate on your application that you will be retaking it? If so, then you are fine.

If you did not indicate it on your app, call up the schools because if they don't know about the retake, they will only look at your application/current score rather than setting it aside as incomplete.

I would inform your schools now because some admission committees only review applications once. So once your application is complete they will review with or without your new score (depending on when they get around to reviewing your application). It really depends on the school so I would communicate with them directly and see if they can put it on hold and review your app after your new DAT scores are in. Good luck!

Yeah I did indicate in my AADSAS appllication that I would be retaking it in August... but plans have changed and I have to move it to September.
