Hi sdn fellows!

Here is my score - please please share your thoughts:

PAT - 20
QR - 17
RC - 16 🙂thumbdown)
Bio - 17 😕😕
GC - 22
OC - 20
TS - 19
AA - 18

oGPA - 3.5
sGPA - 3.3

I know it's low but can I apply? 🙁 The earliest I can retake is in September but wouldn't that make it too late?

yes you can still apply and just mention on the application that you are retaking your DATs. I know some people who took their DATs in October and still ended up getting interview by November. IT will be a lot of pressure on you though because you will have to do really well to have a chance! IT can't hurt to apply though and you will also see how the cycle process is!

You definitely should still apply. Hit up 15-20 schools and pick them wisely.

I have similar stats and applying to 18

Pretty nice GC and Ochem! What you use for RC? Were the passages murderous?

ouchhh,,,the two most heavily weighed sections (bio and rc) by MOST of the schools at least...

not saying you can't get in anywhere. I've heard that some schools actually have cutoffs of minimum of 17 per section...

I used Achiever, Topscore. I was scoring 20's but then I don't know what happened. I read the passage as I was reading questions. I would read first three questions then started reading the passage. Then as I could answer the questions, I would go ahead and read the next few questions. and So on.

So...does this mean that I don't have a chance? Are there schools that look more heavily on science? and PAT?

of course you have a chance:laugh: As I said hit up a lot of schools, as many as you can afford.

those scores are pretty good. 90 percent of people who take the test dont even come on here and post anything only a small percentage of people come on here and post thier scores and those are the ones thast do really good. dont let SDN scores discourage you. i had a few interviews with a 17AA when i took my DAT last september. i think a 19AA is like a guaranteed acceptance or at least a guaranteed interview for most schools
