Hi guys,
For those of you who took their DAT in August, did any of you see your scores posted on their AADSAS application yet? I am constantly checking to see if my scores are officially reported and still nothing! 😕 Btw, I took mine on 08/01.

Last year, I took mine 8/1/2012 and it showed on AADSAS on 8/15/2012. Others too took about 2 weeks. So give them about 2 weeks.
 
I took mine on July 25th, and it got uploaded on August 9th.
 
7/30 - Scores released by ADA 8/15, but no upload yet.
 
Takes some time for AADSAS to receive scores and upload them once ADA releases them.
 
Just checked my AADSAS and my score is finally officially reported! Hope best for everyone in this cycle!
 
same here, took DAT August 2nd

I wonder if they upload it every friday since some people took it on July 31st and didnt get uploaded till today.
 
So how long does it take from AADSAS to the schools?

My understanding is that AADSAS automatically sends any updated information of the application to the designated schools. Hopefully that means schools will start to look at our applications asap given that we had our secondaries also completed *fingers crossed*

That's an interesting thought. I don't know how they can tell when our scores actually arrive to notify them to reevaluate our applications. My scores were in on 8/1 (from 7/19) at 11:55 PM. I haven't heard anything yet from any schools. Probably going to call them this week.
 
I called ADA today and 8/5 test takers score reports will go out on the 21!

The following statement found in the ADEA website may clarify our question:

"ADEA AADSAS will obtain your official DAT scores directly from the American Dental Association's Testing Services Center and will import them directly into your application.If you take the DAT after your ADEA AADSAS application has been sent to your designated dental schools, an updated application, reflecting your DAT scores will be forwarded to schools just as soon as the scores are received."
 
Nope, have your scores been uploaded @wtang567?

I called ADEA today and they upload scores every Friday so we should see scores on the portal sometime this weekend.

No, it takes 4 weeks apparently. Probably see the scores on Sept 2 is my guess.

Mine got uploaded in exactly 16 days after the exam date so there is still hope for ya 🙂
 
I am beginning to get worried that without my scores in I will not get an interview. Some schools have already started sending interviews out.
 
I am also getting worried Wtang, when did you take your DAT? I still have no scores uploaded.

I hope that will be the case!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my scores to be uploaded by the end of this month!!

I took mine 8/03 and AADSAS received it 8/16. Hope that helps
 
Once the scores are uploaded, do the schools automatically "know" or do you have to contact each school to kinda let them know about the new scores??

Once AADSAS uploads the score, it takes time for them to send electronic update to the schools. Basically, they will send the new and updated version of your application to the designated schools in a subsequent 'batch'. Correct me if I am wrong.

how long did it take from the time scores were uploaded onto the AADSAS to the time it was sent out to the schools?

Once it is updated it will go out the next Friday.
 
Just wondering, did anybody take DAT on or later than 8/19/13? I retook mine on that date. So.., I'm expecting my score to be updated by the second week of September.

My scores were updated today!!

So now, the new DAT reports will be sent out to schools this friday, right? (electronically?)
 
Took the DAT on 15 August, scores just got posted on AADSAS today.
 
So my "Official Scores" has my most recent DAT scores, but would the mailing date on the "Dental School Designations" have to change as well?

Yes electronically. I called them for this SAME reason. Took the test 8/15, it was uploaded on the 28th. I called to make sure that it was going to be sent out today (Friday 8/30). She said, that it will be sent out electronically immediately but that since the 28th is "cutting it close" to Friday, it will go out via mail next week Friday. So ridiculous.
 
I was kinda hoping to see the updated scores to be sent out by today, but I guess it was a false hope..

Too bad 🙁 I hated having to wait another week just to see my DAT score get sent out. Made me feel like I am super late in the game. Your score will be sent out by next Friday for sure.
