I took the DAT and did fairly well on everything except QR. I have talked to a few people who are already in dental school who had the same experience. What do you guys think?

if I were you, I would call each school that I would want to attend.

I didn't use Topscore! Is that what you are referring to? I used Kaplan (too expensive!) and actually put QR on the back burner because I really wanted to focus on the chemistry sections. Whoops! About 2 weeks before the test I realized I suck at math! haha

Solid scores! Even with the QR at 14 you did good, I would be content with a 20. If you decided to take it again, and did about the same on all the other sections and improved QR, I would guess your AA to be 21-22.

I would retake it and make sure that QR is atleast an 18. Although QR "doesn't matter" (according to some threads), a 14 is actually below the cut off for some schools.

QR really doesn't matter, but that is only till certain scores. Most schools don't care, but a few have a 16-17 cutoff for QR so make sure you don't apply to any of those. You have a good chance at schools which don't much care or QR (so long as your GPA and ECs are par or above)

One of my classmates got into Creighton and U of I last year with a 13 QR, so I guess it can happen!
